Simon George and Sons values and respects its position and role in the communities in which it operates and we continually evaluate how we might improve and do things better; and how we contribute to the betterment of our important industry – and our community.  This self improvement comes in many forms – including through the sustainability of our operations.

Mater Little MiraclesOver the years, SGS has been involved in many charities, foundations and community causes – in various ways.  One particular cause we have maintained a long-standing association with is the Mater Hospital, and over the past 20 years we have sponsored the Hospital Foundation’s “Little Miracles” movement.

One in seven Queenslanders are born at Mater Mothers’ Hospital—making it the busiest maternity hospital in Australia. Specialist staff provide round-the-clock care to seriously ill children.  These babies and children are affectionately known as Mater Little Miracles. And the care they receive extends from pregnancy, to birth, infancy and childhood.  Mater Little Miracles helps our state’s most vulnerable babies and children.
