A privately owned fruit and vegetable wholesaler, with a vibrant history stretching back to 1927, SGS draws on a extraordinary family knowledge of best practice fruit and vegetable delivery, in establishing and investing into facilities and our supply chain.

Our innovative facilities are designed to take fresh produce, from its source, through a cost-efficient, temperature-controlled “cool chain”. Each stage has been developed to incorporate the requirements as set by the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) program. A fleet of modern refrigerated vehicles complements our facilities and ensures absolute freshness at the point of delivery.

Our distribution centres in Darwin & Townsville are linked by our fleet of domestic and intrastate refrigerated transport.  This ensures delivery of the freshest product throughout both Queensland and the Northern Territory.   Considerable investment has been made into our acquisition of new operations in the competitive Sydney market, to ensure the same systems and standards have been achievable in this important new market advancement.
