After outgrowing our two previous Cairns wholesale produce facilities due to market demand, our current facility in Portsmith was commissioned in 2002 and modelled on our renowned Brisbane facility at the Rocklea Markets. Purpose-built, fully temperature-controlled and scaled to expand alongside our North Queensland operations, our Cairns facility further establishes Simon George & Sons as one of the foremost fruit and vegetable suppliers in the country.

Our Cairns operations provides customers across North Queensland with access to fresh wholesale produce that can be delivered daily. Further, it allows us to supply customers in southern markets and export local Australian produce to international customers in Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Fiji.
